Showcasing at SMM 2024

Our participation in SMM 2024 in Hamburg was a resounding success. Our stand, featuring a detailed box cooler model prepared by our collaborators at Majestic SBCT LLC, drew significant attention. We also highlighted our collaboration with Nordic Fire & Safety, where we flush and renovate sprinkler and foam tank systems, replacing fluorinated foams with eco-friendly alternatives.

Supporting fluorine-free transition with NFS

One of the standout achievements of 2024 has been our extensive collaboration with Nordic Fire & Safety (NFS) to lead the maritime industry’s shift toward fluorine-free firefighting foam. This year, we have successfully transitioned numerous vessels, including ferries, offshore supply vessels, and other maritime assets, to eco-friendly solutions that prioritize both safety and sustainability.

A major milestone in this partnership was the completion of foam replacement operations on seven Torghatten ferries in November: MF Barøy, MF Ørnes, MF Bodø, MF Trondenes, MF Hålogaland, MF Vågan, and MF Selbjørnsfjord. For these vessels, our team expertly removed outdated PFAS-based foam, performed thorough system cleaning, and installed fluorine-free alternatives — all while ensuring compliance with rigorous environmental and safety standards.

But our work doesn’t stop there. Over the course of the year, we’ve supported transitions on many other vessels across various fleets, proving that no project is too complex. From carefully calibrating proportioning systems to ensuring seamless foam integration, every operation is carried out with precision and efficiency. We also handle waste disposal responsibly, adhering to strict environmental regulations.

Our collaboration with NFS has solidified our reputation as a trusted partner for shipowners looking to meet modern regulatory demands while adopting greener practices. Together, we’re proving that sustainability and safety can go hand in hand, delivering tailored solutions that enhance vessel performance and future-proof maritime operations.
