The test was conducted to assess the effectiveness of NGP’s InSitu cleaning method, with the aim of reducing the vessel’s dry-docking downtime in future applications.
Although the purpose of the test was to evaluate NGP’s InSitu cleaning, the box coolers were removed to allow both NGP and the client to observe the full effect of the cleaning process. This provided a detailed understanding of how effectively the cleaning system works on deposits like marine growth and scale.
Traditional cleaning methods require dismantling equipment, causing operational delays. However, NGP’s in-situ cleaning approach allows for chemical treatment and flushing without disassembly, delivering a far more streamlined and efficient process.
Succesfully removed all deposits
The test results were overwhelmingly positive. NGP’s ReclaimTray™ and MarineGel™ successfully removed all deposits after a series of treatments, including a combination of manual intervention and chemical application. Despite the presence of stubborn deposits, additional steam flushing achieved full cleaning efficiency within a short time frame.
NGP’s method outperformed a competing technology tested under similar conditions, demonstrating superior cleaning performance and time efficiency. While the competitor’s cleaning approach required extended cycles and additional treatments, NGP achieved the same results in less time, further solidifying its reputation as a market leader.
Environmental commitment and sustainability
Beyond performance, NGP’s process showcased an impressive environmental commitment. The non-toxic, reusable cleaning chemicals and the advanced filtration system ensured that all deposits were safely removed and disposed of according to regulatory standards. The company remains dedicated to offering green cleaning solutions that minimize environmental impact while maximizing operational efficiency.
NGP continues to prove its commitment to vessel longevity and cost-efficiency through innovative cleaning solutions that deliver real results.
